How you end your day is going to affect the way you start the new day, that’s why I’m here with a list of Things to do every night before bed!
After a long day of work, spend 10minutes tidying up your home, like loading the dishwasher because there’s nothing I HATE more than waking up to a dirty (and messy) kitchen!
Tip: set a 10 to 20min timer and tidy up as you go! As this will become a habit, your house will be cleaner and you will have more time to build your empire!
Yep, I’m guilty! I keep my phone in the bedroom and fall asleep while scrolling on social media. I know that’s BAD! (but I’m working on it)
Let’s make it a habit to disconnect our phones a couple of hours before bed, or, before entering the bedroom, we shall leave our phones in the living room so that we have no distractions and fall asleep/wake up with a clear mind.
Read a chapter (or two)
I love falling asleep while reading, because it’s so relaxing and, while reading you are learning something new and that’s a great bonus!
Plan the next day
Write down your tasks for the next day, and if you’d like to go the extra mile, time block your day, be specific and you will sleep like a baby because you won’t spend the night trying to remember the things you need to do!
Prepare in advance
Lay out the clothes for tomorrow, prepare the coffee maker, do anything you can to save you time in the morning!
That’s also great for kids, like have them get their backpack ready for school!
Set the mood
If you have a hard time falling asleep, try using some essential oils (lavender is great for this purpose), set the lights at a warmer tone (to stimulate the melatonin) and make sure to lay on a comfortable bed.
