If you think you must wait for december to plan the next year, I’m here to prove you wrong and to show you how to plan your year in the most efficient way!
First of all, who’s got time on december to make plans for the next year? We’re all busy buying gifts, planning the holidays and enjoying the magic atmosphere! (except for the pandemic still going on…).
That’s why many successful companies do plan the next year in advance and why you should too!
Ok, you might think “how can I do it? Is it hard? I don’t have enough time” etc… but if you trust me, you will have the most relaxing december ever (without worrying on the plans you have to make) and the best year of your life, with everything in control!
Reflect on last year
Before setting new goals and tasks for the new year, we have to reflect on what we’ve done (and not done) during the last 11 months.
What has worked in 2020?
What hasn’t worked in 2020?
What are the goals you haven’t reached yet?
What do you want to let go of 2020?
Feel grateful for what you have accomplished in 2020.
Focus on the next year
How do you want to feel in 2021?
What goals are you going to accomplish in 2021?
What is your focus for 2021?
What do you want to invite in your life in 2021?
Now that you have a clear vision for the new year, it’s time to grab your calendar or your planner (or both) and make it all happen.
As always, every planning session starts with brainstorming.
Grab a notepad and write all the events, birthdays, recurring tasks you can recall.
Add everything that comes to your mind, your anniversary, your child’s holidays etc…
Plan, Plan, Plan
Now that you have everything written down, it’s time to put all the events and tasks in your calendar.
