Having a morning routine is crucial to raise your vibration, set the mood, and, most of all, be motivated and inspired.
In this article, I will show you that small tasks (that become habits) can really change the way your day (and your life) goes.
I recommend having a tool to track your morning routine
Firstly, because ticking things off it’s really satisfying. Secondly, because seeing what you’ve accomplished let’s you celebrate your small wins!
I usually wake up between 6 and 7 am. The best thing about waking up early is that you have more time for you and the things you love.
After waking up, I use the restroom and I make my bed.
Making your bed is such a small task but its effects on your mindset are great!
Then I go to the kitchen and take my medication (for my thyroid) and my vitamins.
After that, I usually make some coffee for my boyfriend and fill/empty/start the dishwasher.
I like to light a candle and an incense stick and set my intention for the day.
Then, while listening to a podcast episode, I feed my cat, vacuum the floor, and have breakfast.
I then take a shower, get dressed (even if I work at home) and sit at my desk.
I check my planner, my Asana, and Google calendar. I prepare the tabs on Chrome with the websites I need to use for work (for eg. my blog, canva, etc…).
Before start working, I take some time to meditate, look at my vision board (that I set as my computer wallpaper) and say my daily affirmations.
