BrainDump your goals
Before any type of planning, braindump is always the first thing to do.
Write down your goals, divide them into categories (personal, carreer, family, etc..) and be specific.
Remember, your goals need to have these 5 qualities:
✦ Specific
✦ Measurable
✦ Achievable
✦ Relevant
✦ Time-bound
(as you can see, your goals must be S.M.A.R.T.)
Break them down
To be able to achieve your goals and prevent burn out, you have to break down your goals into small tasks.
For eg:
Goal: lose 10kg in 6 months.
Put it down like this it seems unattainable but if you break it down…
Goal: lose 1,5 kg per month

Choose your WHY
Be clear on the “why” behind each of your goals. Motivation is what keeps us focused and if we are focused and driven we can achieve anything!
