I’m back, after being mia for a while, with something I’ve been struggling a LOT with and I’m sure you do too: HABITS.
What’s a habit?
A settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.
A habit is something we tend to do everyday automatically and it’s part of our routine, like brushing teeth or taking a shower in the morning.
Where to start?
Choose the habits you want to include in your daily routine but start by adding one habit at a time. Adding more at the same time it’s too overwhelming and it makes it harder for you to even start doing them all the first day and you will give up before even starting.
Don’t miss a day!
It’s easier to make a habit by doing that task every single day, instead of a couple times a week. Consistency is key!
If you want to workout for an hour everyday, just start by putting you sport bra and leggings on, it’s a simple step that will push you to start working out, just like if you want to meditate, light a candle and sit comfortably. Focus on the first step!
Use your phone as your habit-assistant, plan the time you want to work on your habit and turn on the notifications! For ex: batch your habit with other similar tasks!
Commit for 30 days
Studies have demonstrated that if you keep doing a task, everyday, for at least 30 days, it’s going to become a habit. So stay strong and stay motivated, you go girl!
