Before making a list, you need to free your mind of all the things you want/have to do, that’s why the first thing to do is to braindump (on a piece of paper or on your note app).
Stop saying to yourself “I will remember this” because you know what!? YOU WON’T! So, try to make it a habit to write down everything (ideas, things to do, books you’d like to read, etc…) it’s a life changer habit!
Underestimate what you can do
That’s why you should keep it simple and…
Organize according to the priority
Choose the 3 top priority items and put them first! So that if you “only” complete those three, you can still feel accomplished!
An easy way to prioritize is to put on top of the list: “I must…” “I should…” “I’d like to…”. Easy peasy!
Make your list before bedtime, so you will fall asleep knowing that all you have to do the next day is written and you aren’t going to forget anything!
The worst thing is to try to fall asleep while our brain keeps thinking over and over again about the stuff we must do in the morning, that used to happen to me, A LOT!
But now, whenever something comes to my mind, I write it down and then, sleep like a baby!
