Being a Girl Boss often means having all day stuffed with things to do, 24 hours are never enough that’s why we end up with zero time for ourselves, right?
Well, it’s time to have a proper morning routine, in case you don’t have one, and make room for the Morning Pages.
What are Morning Pages?
Morning Pages are three pages you write, every morning.
Yes, seems boring and aimless right? Actually, they can be your next game changer!
It reminds me of when I used to write in my secret diary, I would write whatever came to my mind, without a purpose except freeing my mind.
The benefits from writing those 3 pages are priceless!
- Clarity – We wake up with 1 billion thoughts, putting them on paper will help you focus only on the important stuff.
- Creativity – While writing you will unconsciously have a thousand ideas that you’re not going to forget about (they’re on paper!), maybe they will make you a millionaire!
- Productivity – If you write down ideas and things to do, don’t you think it’s going to be easier to get s*it done?!
- Calm – While writing, all your emotions will come to the surface and you will be able to confront them and feel better.
But, where do I start?
Here are my ideas, in case you are stuck:
✦ Review the day before
✦ Write the things you have to do
✦ Write your worries
✦ Talk about your goals
✦ What you can do to move towards those goals
✦ What you’re grateful for
You can do your morning pages “traditionally” on paper or digitally on a note-taking app but personally, I think that typing on a keyboard makes writing more “conscious” and rational… so try both and find what’s best for you!
