HOW TO be a Successful Streamer 101 : Chat Bots

Welcome back dear readers for the second part of this guide to be a successful streamer !

Today I want to talk about your trustworthy tool to engage with the chat: the Chat Bot !

There are many different bots with their unique tools and features… I will help you choose the best for you and your stream..

(this list has only the bots most known and used… but if you know some other bots, feel free to comment down below!)

Let’s start with the one I’m currently using…

ANKH BOT (Free)

This bot is one of the most complete IMO because you can have the channel’s currency with ranks (per points or per hours) and games for your chat. You can manage giveaways, songrequest, make polls and make all the timers and commands you’d like.
The only thing I don’t like in Ankh Bot is that it’s local so everytime I have to stream at my bf’s house I have to back up everything and upload on the bot and bla bla… boring and unnecessary stuff!
Not so long ago it’s been ”fused” with StreamLabs and that makes it more useful for who (like me) uses SL for the alert etc..

MOOBOT (Partially free)

This bot is like the ”Celebrity” among all the bots. It feels special and maybe, it really is.
It has a professional feeling and is used by the most famous streamer.. so there should be a reason why, am I right? Tell me if you find it out 😛
A new feature is that you get notified when a new user starts chatting… useful to welcome them on your channel!
Unfortunately many of its features are not for free and require a monthly fee.. and that’s what has stopped me from using it, right now.

NIGHTBOT (Free)

OMG, this bot would be perfect for me since it’s cloud based BUT… it has no currency or ranks… users are divided only in ”regulars” ”subscribers” and ”mods”(crying inside). That’s why I have never used this bot; but I hope one day the devs will make it perfect for me *-* 

DEEPBOT (5$ per month)

This bot is really similar to Ankhbot but it’s not for free… you can choose to have limited unlocked features paying 10$ only once, or pay 5$ each month to get the VIP version but really, if you like it just use Ankhbot!

PHANTOMBOT (Free) 

A few months ago I found out this bot and thought it was my dream bot… but it still disappointed me.
It’s not so easy to set it up but it’s full of useful features and you can manage it from the browser. You might be wondering why I stopped using it… well the user ranks are only per hours and not points. I know, I’m so picky with bots!

ULTIMATE TWITCH BOT (Free)

I chose to put this bot as the last because this one sounds more like a bad joke, lol
It claims to be the best twitch bot from its name but on the features pages it says “Basically everything, eventually…” what?
It doesn’t even have its own website… well but if you used to work with Revlo bot (not working anymore) you can import your old settings. But really? No, don’t even go check their website lol
