[Review] ICK Garnet Blue

I’m going to review the only pair I have right now since my beloved Starmish Brown just expired! (don’t worry, I’ve already ordered another pair ~ !)

It seems an interesting design and a really deep blue, right?

I bought the lenses from Uniqso and this is the stock photo…

Wow! The color is so pretty and vibrant, the limbal ring is not thick but visible etc..etc.. so I was totally sold !

The truth is that… it was an illusion (and disappointment) ! T_T

Well, let’s start the review…

Dia: 15mm

Water content: 42%

BC: 8.6mm

Duration: 12months

Design:     

As I said previously, the design seems quite interesting and it’s supposed to give a gradient effect… but when the lenses are in my eyes just give a plain effect like my eyes were two dark blue balls… alien-ish and not pretty at all ! I just wish they had a real limbal ring !!!

Enlargement:     

I can’t complain about enlargement! The solid effect makes my “two blue balls” look really huge, which I don’t like… 

solid color + enlargement = ugly! 

These have the same dia of Princess Mimi Apple Green but those lenses look way better than these (thanks to the black limbal ring + a real gradient effect) !

But if you like alien-ish eyes… go ahead and buy these lenses… this is just my honest opinion ^-^

Comfort:     

These lenses are quite comfortable, I usually wear my lenses more than 8 hours (I know it’s wrong but if I’m not at home and I still feel comfortable I don’t mind).

Overall:     

If these lenses really looked like on the advertisement… they would have been my new favourites! Unfortunately I was quite disappointed… indeed recently I’m going out without lenses.. (I wear false lashes to still feel pretty).
