Hello dear reader,
2017 is about to end so why not do a fresh start and reach your goals during the new year?
The key to success is be productive everyday, that’s why having a good morning routine is essential.
These are the golden rules:
1. Wake up early
I know, this doesn’t sound exciting but trust me, if you do it for a week, you’ll get used to it and you’ll love it!
You’ll find out how much more time you have in your hands. 5.00am would be the perfect time to wake up but I suggest to wake between 6am and 7am.
2. Plan your day the night before
Don’t start the day without knowing what to do. Starting the day with a purpose will make you feel more motivated to get out of the bed!
Before going to sleep make a ‘to-do’ list so you don’t have to worry in case you forget something, and checking things out is so satisfying!!! (Apps I recommend: Tiny Calendar, ToDoist)
3. Work out
They say “Mens sana in corpore sano” right? So why not doing something for your body everyday? You could do some yoga, pilates, aerobics or whatever you’d like. Some stretching might still be good for you nonetheless!
Relax, free your mind from any thoughts, if you’re not used to meditate you could just do some deep breathing or use some guided meditation (App I recommend: Headspace)
5. Plan your relax-time
You can’t be productive 24/7, you need some time to charge, some time to get inspired and have new ideas. Add in your calendar at least 1 hour for you. Watch a movie, take a nap, do whatever you want… but don’t work or think about it.
You will go back to work with a more positive mindset and more energized!
